Carneys Point, NJ. – Salem Community College's Maggie St.Clair scored 17 points, but it wasn't enough as the Mighty Oaks fell to Essex County College in Region 19 action. With the loss the Mighty Oaks fall to 3-2 on the season.
St.Clair shot 4-9 from beyond the three-point line in the loss for SCC. Nyaijah Jackson added 10 points for the Mighty Oaks going 4-6 from the free throw line. Daniella Gustin had a solid day defensively with a team high 8 rebounds and 2 steals.
The Mighty Oaks will be back on the hardcourt December 3 when they will travel to Union County College in a Region 19 showdown. Tip off is scheduled for 5:00PM at UCC.
